Medicine belly Art print

5x7 Art Print

this art print brings together the movement of water and the beauty of the natural world. The flowers within the fish symbolize life, abundance, renewal, and the sacred connection between land, water, and all living beings.

For many Indigenous Nations, fish are far more than a source of food. They represent sustenance, cultural identity, teachings, and a responsibility to care for the waters that support life. Fishing, preparing, and sharing fish can also be understood as medicine work, offering nourishment not only to the body, but to the spirit, family, and community. These practices reflect gratitude, relationship, reciprocity, and respect for the natural world.

This print is a reminder that nourishment can be both physical and spiritual, and that every living being carries beauty, purpose, and connection.
